FIG is delighted to present Jacky Blue the illustrator and artist.

Blue, formerly known as Jacky Marshall, a Brit who since graduating from the RCA in 1988, has been working deep in fashion in NYC for the likes of Donna Karen and Calvin Klein. Her drawings, widely admired, by all with whom she worked have been under wraps from all those outside the inside.

The late Louise Wilson, her mentor and early champion, encourage her to draw and make photographs as much as possible. Most of her work has been hidden away in her sketch books but since commissions from Marc Jacobs, Stephen Jones and Stella McCartney a new audience is beginning to rave about her sensibility and delicate touch.

The prices for her work will inevitably rise so it is a great time to start collecting.

FIG Unframed is a one day showcase for established and emerging artists that offers some of fashion’s most talented image makers an opportunity to exhibit previously unseen works direct from their studios.
