Jean-Philippe Delhomme

Jean-Philippe Delhomme is a painter and illustrator known for his work in international magazines and advertising since the late 1980s. He has created award-winning campaigns for Barneys New York, SAAB USA, The Mark Hotel, and Le Bon Marché, and directed animated spots for brands such as Visa France and Saab.

 

As a fashion illustrator, he has contributed backstage and runway scenes to British and French Vogue, Libération, Madame Figaro, and his blog The Unknown Hipster. His cultural commentary includes illustrated books such as A Paris Journal, The Unknown Hipster Diaries, The Cultivated Life, and Design Addicts, as well as contributions to GQ France, AD France, and Zeit Magazin.

 

Delhomme illustrated Glenn O’Brien’s “The Style Guy” column for GQ USA for over a decade and has been featured in The New Yorker, Wallpaper, Vogue, Interview, W, and more. His collaborations include mural work for Chez Castel and fashion collections with Moncler.

 

He continues to exhibit internationally, with recent shows in New York, Paris, London, Tokyo, and Madrid. In recent years, he has focused on developing his painting practice, exhibiting with Lucien Terras Gallery in New York.
